Impressum and disclosure
Information under section 5 of the Austrian E-Commerce Act, section 63 of the Trade Act and section 25 of the Media Act, and under section 5 of the German Digital Services Act.
What the company does
Development and licensing of software for the evidentiary archiving of web content. The software is delivered for installation in the customer's own environment only. Knightify FlexCo does not operate it as a service.
Liability for content and links
The content of this site was prepared with care. To the extent permitted by law we give no warranty as to accuracy, completeness or currency. The websites, names, prices, hash values and file numbers shown in examples are invented.
For the content of external sites we link to, their operators are solely responsible. At the time of linking, no unlawful content was apparent.
Copyright
Text, figures and the source code of this site are protected by copyright. Using extracts for review by your IT department or your data protection officer is expressly permitted.
Data protection: controller
The controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) GDPR is Knightify FlexCo, Gumpendorfer Strasse 83/12, 1060 Vienna. Please address data protection enquiries to datenschutz@webichive.eu. A data protection officer is appointed and reachable at the same address.
The principle behind this site
This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics service, loads no third party fonts or scripts and embeds no external media. There is no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
Pages are served statically. No profiling takes place, neither on this site nor in the software.
Server logs
When you visit, the web server writes log entries that are necessary for secure operation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the service securely.
Demo requests and contact
If you use the demo form, we process your details to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to entering into a contract.
Processors
We use a single processor: the operator of the data centre that hosts this site and our mailbox. The agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place. No transfer to third countries takes place. The list of subprocessors is published on this site.
Captures made by our customers
Captures created with Webichive exist only in the environment of the firm or legal department concerned. We have no access to them, not even for support. For that processing the firm is the controller, not us.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21 GDPR). An email to datenschutz@webichive.eu is enough, no form is required. We reply within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Austria the Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40 to 42, 1030 Vienna, in Germany the state authority responsible for your place of residence.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our processing changes. The version in force carries a date at the top and a hash value at the bottom, so earlier versions can be evidenced. Earlier versions are available on request.
